Through my nearly thirty years on this quite lovely planet, I have had numerous opportunities to travel. Back in high school I left for a year and moved to Sundsvall, Sweden. Once back in my hometown of Lake Bluff, Illinois, I decided to attend the University of Alaska Fairbanks and set off nearly as quickly as I had returned from Europe. Once in Alaska, I traveled around the state until I felt a need to take a break from studies and work. Off I went again, this time to Swansea, Wales. While in Wales I traveled through-out Western Europe. Six-months later I moved back to Alaska for another year-and-a-half. Then it was off to Gonzaga University School of Law in Washington State. Finally, I graduated from law school and moved back to Alaska. I returned, this time to Bethel. That stay, while eventful and quite cool, lasted only one-year. I was then (forced by available work) to move to Anchorage. I’ve had numerous opportunities to travel since moving to Anchorage, including numerous trips back to the Midwest and one very awesome trip to the Philippines.
